The Surat Regional Office of The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has organised a five-day long camp in Rajkot to create awareness about the “G & J Parichay Card” and Health Insurance benefits through “Swasthya Kosh” scheme.

The camp, being organised with the support of Gem & Jewellery Association Rajkot, began on November 26 and concludes on November 29.  The camp moves to a different location within the gold and silver market each day to enable maximum number of artisans to avail of the benefits under the schemes.

At the camp, jewellery manufacturers were also provided guidance regarding registration for an IEC number and given information on the benefits of being a GJEPC member.

Over the first two days, more than 400 forms were distributed to artisans and small factory owners.
