The first edition of Roma Jewelry Week, a jewellery exhibition celebrating the cultural heritage of Rome, opened recently. The event aims to commemorate Rome’s contribution to the field of jewellery, bringing together contemporary & artistic jewels and historic goldsmiths.
Participants include jewellery designers, goldsmiths, jewel boutiques, art galleries, academies and associations based in the Eternal City. Roma Jewelry Week is being held concurrently with the Premio Incinque Jewels jewellery contest being held at the Auditorium di Mecenate that dates back to 30BC.
