India's Capabilities On Display

The GJEPC organises a number of B2B trade events round the year to facilitate interaction between Indian manufacturers and foreign buyers in key markets. These take place across different locations in India and abroad and comprise many different formats.

A few key Trade Shows take place in India directly under the banner of the GJEPC. Some overseas initiatives are held in collaboration with international trade bodies.

Indian International Jewellery Show (IIJS)

The IIJS, first introduced in 1985, is held in Mumbai during July-August each year. India’s premier jewellery show and the second largest B2B trade show in Asia helps retailers/ wholesalers interact with manufacturers prior to the key buying seasons in both the Indian and US markets. The five-day event brings together over 850 exhibitors from diamond-studded, coloured stone and plain gold jewellery segments, as well as suppliers of polished diamonds and gemstones and attracts over 30,000 trade visitors from 85 countries and 875 cities of India.

Signature IIJS

Launched in 2008 to complement the larger IIJS, Signature IIJS is a premium B2B event to showcase collections from the country’s leading jewellers to a select audience of Indian and international retailers. The focus is on design, craftsmanship and finish with latest collections from about 550 exhibitors providing buyers the opportunity to source fresh stocks shortly after the peak buying seasons end. The show is held in Mumbai in February each year.

India Gem & Jewellery Machinery Exhibition (IGJME)

An all-in-one platform where suppliers of machinery used in the manufacturing of jewellery / diamonds / gemstones, as well as of tools, components & equipment and allied sectors (packaging & display / IT & software / education), etc. from across the globe can interact with diamond, gemstone and jewellery manufacturers from India. Launched in 2013, the B2B show has had about 125 exhibitors and has been held in the diamond manufacturing hub of Surat, in association with the Surat Diamond Association, towards the end of the year.

India Pavilions

The GJEPC organises India Pavilions at about 10 leading international jewellery shows across the world covering both the developed and developing markets. Such joint participation of Indian exhibitors under a common banner facilitates participation of companies of varying sizes and projects the overall strengths of India as the leading G & J centre. 

Buyer-Seller Meets

The BSMs are specially designed events to boost direct interaction between Indian manufacturers and their clients in particular markets and comprise one-on-one interaction among participants on both sides as well as factory visits, seminars/discussions and networking evenings.
