Sub: Circular for Opening of Stall booking at 35^th edition of IIJS 2018, 9 to 13 August 2018, Bombay Exhibition Centre

Dear Sir,

We are glad to inform that with each year, IIJS is growing from strength-to-strength in all aspects thus making it one of the most important jewellery shows in the world which one cannot miss. Council is dedicated towards providing better facility to its members & visitors at every IIJS.

We are pleased to announce the opening of space booking for 35^th edition of India International Jewellery Show (IIJS 2018) as per below:

Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC)

Like each year, members will be able to successfully submit their space application forms only through www.iijs.org (under Exhibitor Registration) by using existing username and password (same as being used for membership registration and renewal).

PLEASE NOTE:

Renting, Subletting & Sharing of booths: Please note, it has been observed that many exhibitors have been sub-letting, sharing & renting their booths, which is a gross violation of the participation rules mentioned in the Application & Contract form. In case, if any exhibitor is found violating this clause, disciplinary action will be taken by the Council against, both, the Exhibitor and the Exhibitor/Applicant who was part in sharing the booth including its representatives. The said disciplinary action will include immediate closer of the booth of the Exhibitor at the show and/or lose the chance to exhibit by the Exhibitor/Applicant at all future events of the Council and/or black listed/debarred from all the activities of Council.

There have been few major developments at IIJS 2018 which will enhance the show further. The developments are as under:

1. Hall 7A: This year at IIJS 2018, we have added a new Hall 7A, (next to Hall 6) thus increasing the overall size of the show. The new hall is a pillar-less hall due to which more no of booths can be created. Hall 7A will have all mezzanine booths, thus enhancing the overall aesthetics of the show.

2. Displacement of Open Bay Area & Allied Section: Due to ongoing construction for Metro Project going on at Western Express Highway outside the Bombay Exhibition Centre and the resultant heavy traffic, Mumbai Traffic Police will not be issuing us permission to construct booths in the Open Bay Area (next to Hall 5) & the Allied & Laboratory Section (next to Hall 1). Traffic Police had also not issued permissions to construct booths at Open Bay

   during recently concluded Signature 2018 in February 2018. Hence, the exhibitors of Open Bay Area & the Allied & Laboratory Section will be relocated as under:

1. Exhibitors of Open Bay Area: All the exhibitors of open bay area, except Synthetic & Simulant section, will be shifted to Hall 7A which has been earmarked in the attached floor plan. All the efforts have been made to provide booth to alldisplaced exhibitors. The allotted booth nos is attached (Annexure I).

2. It is to be noted that the exhibitors in the open bay area that were having 12 sq.mtr booth at IIJS 2017 will now have 9 sq.mtrs booth only. Exhibitors who are allotted new location in Hall 7A and who wish to change the booth location will have to apply for change of location through the online space application form. The allotment of all such booths will be allotted through lottery.

3. Exhibitors of Allied, Laboratory & Education Section: The exhibitors in the Allied, Laboratory & Education section will be allotted booth in the Hall No 2 along with the International Jewellery Exhibitors. It is also to be noted that the exhibitors in the Allied section will now be allotted 6 sq.mtr booth instead of 12sq.mtr booth. The booths under Laboratory & Education section will be allotted 9 sq.mtr booths.

The key modifications at upcoming IIJS 2018 are listed below:

1. The allotment of the applicants will be based on their GJEPC Membership status as on 30th April 2018

2. Allotment of waitlisted companies:(Refer Annexure II & III):The allotment of the waitlisted applicants will be based on their GJEPC Membership status as on 30th April 2018

   1. All the Ordinary Members of GJEPC under waitlist till IIJS 2017 will be given 1st preference in allotment.

   2. Members having manufacturing units registered under Udhyog Aadhar Number (UAN)/SSI/MSME under waitlist till IIJS 2017 will get 2nd preference.

   3. Associate members under waitlist till IIJS 2017 will get 3rd preference in allotment

3. Allotment of Fresh Applicants (Applying for the first time at IIJS 2018)

Fresh Applicants will be allotted booth after the allotment of waitlisted applicants. The allotment of the Fresh Applicants will be based on their GJEPC Membership status as on 30th April 2018

The allotment preference will be as under:

1. Ordinary Members will get 1st preference,

2. Members under MSME/UAN/SSI will get 2nd preference.

3. Associate Members will get 3rd preference

4. Option to surrender back partial space at Existing location.

5. Few existing non-Mezzanine locations on the floor plan may be permitted to create Mezzanine stalls and expand vertically. In view of this new development, only 8/6/5/4 non-mezzanine stall can be allowed as Mezzanine stalls and we further request you to kindly send us a formal response as per below options: (allocation of the same will be subject to approval by Council based on feasibility of the location)

6. Gem & Jewellery MyKYCis compulsory for GJEPC Members to apply for space application

Members can apply for booths as per below eligibility criteria:

EXISTING EXHIBITORS:

Members are requested to carefully study the new floor plan, read the rules & regulations stated in the space application form including important guidelines, allotment procedure and cancellation policy (no relaxations will be permitted under any circumstances).

Kindly refer “Guidelines, Rules & Regulations for Allotment of Booths” for further information.

Please note that members who are unable to renew the current year membership (applicable for Indian applicants) or having any past outstanding payment dues with GJEPC will automatically be disqualified in the application & allotment process. Gem & Jewellery MyKYC is compulsory for GJEPC Members to apply for space application.

The last date for submission of online space application form is Friday, 22ndJune 2018. The rules of space allotment and floor plan are enclosed herewith for your ready reference.

All the applicants will have to send the requisite advance payment along with the print acknowledgement receipt that will be made available at the time of successful submission of the online space application form. The same has to be compulsorily signed ONLY by the Director / Partner / Proprietor as notified to our membership section in their RCMC, on all the pages (including the terms & conditions section) including company seal within 4 working days from the date of successful online submission

Please be informed that if we DO NOT receive the online space application form and advance payment within the stipulated deadline as mentioned above then you will automatically lose your chance for a preferential allotment even though you may have exhibited at IIJS 2017. Kindly take note that incase of non-submission or incomplete submission your application will be automatically rejected without any notice and such members will not be eligible for further consideration in our preferential allotment of space (even though you might wish to retain same space as last year). The stall allotment preferences have been pre-defined under the existing rules & regulations and can also be downloaded from www.iijs.org
