Circular for Registration of Interest (ROI) of IIJS Virtual 2020

Dear Industry Colleagues and Members,

Greetings from GJEPC! We hope you and your family are safe and healthy!

Thank you for your continued patronage and support to GJEPC. These difficult times of the global pandemic has affected ourselves and businesses from our sector very badly. At GJEPC, we are constantly monitoring the development of the COVID-19 Pandemic and its impact on our industry. After long time we are seeing some ray of hope with lockdown measures significantly eased in a number of affected countries, including India, though restrictions on face to face interaction, extensive travel & mass gathering still remain. This has resulted in cancellation or postponement of all major fairs in the world in the year 2020, including IIJS Premiere 2020. We are gearing up for holding the show in January 2021 as we are hopeful that by that time the things will be much better in India.

We also understand that with Indian Govt. starting to open the lock down, the smaller cities other than the metros have started doing usual business and we need platforms to meet buyers, if not physically, then virtually. Virtual meetings have become the order of the day and GJEPC has also adopted it in a big way and have recently launched various virtual platforms for the benefit of the industry.

Based on popular sentiment of exhibitors and the trade, GJEPC has now decided to organize a Virtual version of IIJS 2020 for all the participants for IIJS and its members. With the virtual trade fair, exhibitors can display their products on the specially built platform wherein the trade buyers, retailers, wholesalers etc can place order from comforts of their offices/showrooms/retail outlets etc. thus avoiding the physical contact. The fair will be titled ‘IIJS Virtual’ and will be held in October 2020 to get an opportunity to book the orders for the ensuing festive season (the exact date, participation package/ features and cost will be informed in due course).

IIJS Virtual will be conducted on the specially built virtual platform exclusive to GJEPC which will be safe, secure & dynamic with all the features like appointment scheduler, live chat, product catalogue & company brochure display, video, meeting rooms, seminars and feedback etc.

We are hereby calling for “Registration of Interest (ROI) for participation from applicants of IIJS Premiere 2020”.

Points to Note:

1. All the interested exhibitors are required to submit their Registration of interest (ROI) for participation on or before 8th Sept 2020 by filling the ROI from the below link.

2. As slots will be limited, exhibitors who have confirmed their participation for “IIJS January 2021” will be given “First Preference”.
