Judy Meana in New Vice President of Panama Diamond Exchange
Judy Meana has been appointed as the new Vice-President of the Panama Diamond Exchange, the first woman internationally to hold such a senior position within a diamond bourse. She was earlier PDE's Director of Communications.
In her new role, Meana will be responsible for the Latin American diamond bourse's overall marketing and communications strategy and operations.
Having begun her career as a TV journalist, winning a scholarship from the Spanish governemnt and later also a National Journalism Award, Meana went on to hold various positions of responsibility in the Communications departments of private and governemnt bodies.Just prior to joining PDE, she was the Panamanian Communication Manager of the multinational electric company Union Fenosa.
