‘Sarine Diamond Journey™ Official Partners’ Programme Launched With Select Midstream Suppliers
Sarine Technologies Ltd yesterday announced the launch of ‘Sarine Diamond Journey Official Partners’ programme.
“Following the Sarine Diamond Journey™ provenance tracking programme’s launch earlier this year, significant interest has been expressed by retailers interested in sourcing Sarine Diamond Journey documented goods,” the Company explained. “One of the major advantages of sourcing Journey documented diamonds is that retailers can then source these from a broad selection of suppliers and not be dependent on only a certain supplier with its own individual traceability programme. In addition, the Sarine Diamond Journey is based on actual verifiable imagery and information rather than declarative statements.”
The ‘Sarine Diamond Journey Official Partners’ programme will initially include select diamond manufacturers that will be able to supply goods meeting the retailers' criteria, the Company said. “Suppliers participating in the programme have implemented the required manufacturing processes in order to generate a continuous supply of Sarine Diamond Journey diamonds to the market,” the Company stressed.
Each of these diamonds, which have undergone the process, can be supplied down the chain with a Sarine Diamond Journey provenance report that is accessible 24/7 from Sarine's secure cloud. “The Diamond Journey report includes a digital, interactive and visual documentary of the diamond’s journey from its rough form to finished polished diamond or even to the set jewellery piece,” Sarine elaborated. “It enables consumers to appreciate the unique story of each diamond, while being confident in the authenticity of the information generated by Sarine's technological solution. In addition, a 3D-printed model of the rough diamond, from which the polished diamond was derived, can optionally be supplied, adding another engaging layer to the experience.”
Currently, the approved select partners are: Andre Messika Diamonds; Ashwin Diamonds; C. Dinesh; Diarough; Finestar; H&A Cutting Works; Hope International; KGK; Moti Gantz Botswana; Rosy Blue; Schachter and Namdar Namibia (pty) Ltd.; Shairu Gems; Star Rays; Venus Jewels. The Company said additional suppliers, which meet stringent programme criteria will be added in the future.
David Block, CEO of Sarine Technologies, said: “With the launch of the Sarine Diamond Journey Official Partners programme we expect to have tens of thousands of Journey-documented diamonds by year-end. With over 70 million diamonds being processed by Sarine's installed base of planning systems annually, we expect the programme to grow significantly in the long term. The creation of a significant supply chain of Sarine Diamond Journey ready diamonds will enable retailers to utilise our reports as an integral part of the in-store or online sales experience.”
