An Androgynous, Unisex Palette Colours Fall Fashion 2015

Muted, earthy neutrals  perked up by bold hues are the colours of  the Fashion World for Autumn 2015,  Pantone®  reveals. The muted greys, grey greens, deep dark blues and mauves are enlivened with a dash of peach, deep bluish green and blush rose pink. Needless to say, Marsala, a winey red-brown declared colour of 2015 by  Pantone®  earlier, is part of this spectrum and fits right in.

“Juxtaposition of colour from opposite sides of the spectrum emphasises poise and confidence on the runway,” commented Leatrice EisemanExecutive Director, Pantone Color Institute®. “The Fall 2015 palette is rooted in multi-faceted, androgynous colours that can be worn to portray effortless sophistication across men’s and women’s fashion; it is the first time we are seeing a truly unisex colour palette.”

“The colors are evocative of a love for nature and a timeless appreciation for warmth and security, which are conveyed through naturally inspired colours that remind us of things that are real and protective,” comments Pantone® .

With the rich colour spectrum available in gemstones, jewellers can start preparing their Fall offerings to match fashion creations.
