Alrosa has approved its Health & Safety Code of Conduct and guidelines for managers, an additional tool to increase personal responsibility of managers at all levels thus further improving the corporate culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Code contains both guidelines all managers should follow in their daily work to protect the life and health of their team members, as well as essential safety regulations for the Company\u2019s employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Failure to comply with the Code or the essential safety regulations will lead to disciplinary action and, depending on the gravity of the consequence resulting from such failure, disciplinary action will include job competency evaluation up to dismissal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEmployees\u2019 health and safety remain our top priority, and we are continuously improving our occupational safety framework to bring the number of production-related accidents and occupational injuries across our facilities to zero. We aim to increase engagement and responsibility of managers for ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations,\u201d said Igor Simonov, Head of H&S at Alrosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In May 2021 Alrosa presented its 2021-2025 H&S Strategy aimed to completely eliminate workplace fatalities leveraging best management practices and state-of-the-art technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Sustainability Programme approved by the company in June 2021 also sets out the key H&S objectives until 2025, including achieving zero injuries and an annual 10% decrease in Lost Time Frequency Rate (LTIFR).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
