{"id":12681,"date":"2021-11-16T17:01:03","date_gmt":"2021-11-16T11:31:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/?p=12681"},"modified":"2021-11-16T17:01:24","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T11:31:24","slug":"us-thanksgiving-jewellery-sales-to-grow-40","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/us-thanksgiving-jewellery-sales-to-grow-40\/","title":{"rendered":"US Thanksgiving Jewellery Sales To Grow 40%"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Jewellery sales in the US during Thanksgiving week (22<sup>nd<\/sup> Nov through 28<sup>th<\/sup> Nov) are expected to grow 39.7% compared with both 2020 and 2019, according to Mastercard SpendingPulse\u2122, a market intelligence and retail analytics provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With supply chain challenges straining product availability, elevated inflation and consumers creating unprecedented demand for goods, this holiday season is shaping up to be a seller\u2019s market for retailers, it noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With holiday cheer in the air and shoppers returning to stores in force, US jewellery sales in October 2021 grew 40.4% versus 2020 and 39.4% compared with 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHoliday lights are shining bright for retailers this year,\u201d said Steve Sadove, senior advisor for Mastercard and former CEO and Chairman of Saks Incorporated. \u201cThe consumer is strong and spending.
