Alrosa has voluntarily stepped down from the position of Vice-Chair of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), temporarily leaving the Board of Directors due to the Russia-Ukraine war. This was communicated to the RJC Board of Directors during a meeting on 3rd March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLike so many, we are deeply saddened by the geopolitical situation in connection with the Ukraine crisis,\u201d said David Bouffard, RJC Chair. \u201cThe RJC team will support our 1,500 international members with guidance to comply to all applicable sanctions, together with the RJC COP requirements on due diligence within their supply chains.
