Prohibits Imports of Russian Diamonds"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The US Department of the Treasury\u2019s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued a new round of broad sanctions against Russia on 11<sup>th<\/sup> March due to its invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USA President Biden issued an executive order on Friday \u201cto ban further imports and exports related to Russia\u201d \u2026 \u201cto deny Russia export revenues and to ensure that our citizens are not underwriting Putin\u2019s war.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The order prohibits the importation into the United States of Russian-origin fish, seafood, alcoholic beverages, and non-industrial diamonds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Secretary of the Treasury Janet L.
