Subrahmanyam, Commerce Secretary and Vipul Bansal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce &amp; Industry, Government of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colin Shah, Chairman, GJEPC; Vipul Shah, Vice Chairman, GJEPC; and Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC presented the export target for the sector that was set at $45 billion for FY 2022-23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GJEPC also presented the requisite policy support required to achieve the set target that included the abolition of the Equalisation Levy, and implementation of a Presumptive Tax Regime for Special Notified Zones (SNZs) among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce &amp; Industry, Government of India, held a meeting with the GJEPC officials on 15th April to discuss the gem and jewellery export target for the fiscal year 2022-2023 and issues pertaining to the trade.
