{"id":15559,"date":"2022-05-30T10:41:49","date_gmt":"2022-05-30T05:11:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/?p=15559"},"modified":"2022-05-30T10:41:52","modified_gmt":"2022-05-30T05:11:52","slug":"gjepc-conducts-webinar-on-fx-retail-a-new-forex-trading-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/gjepc-conducts-webinar-on-fx-retail-a-new-forex-trading-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"GJEPC Conducts Webinar On FX-Retail: A New Forex Trading Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Gem &amp; Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex body of the gem and jewellery trade in India, conducted a webinar <a>on <strong>\u201c <\/strong><\/a><a><strong>FX-Retail<\/strong><\/a><strong>: A New Forex Trading Platform\u201c <\/strong>on 23<sup>rd<\/sup> May 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the endeavor to achieve the RBI initiative to bring in the transparency and fair pricing for the Customers, Corporates, Importers, Exporters etc. in the Foreign Exchange market, Clearing Corporation of India Limited (CCIL), through its fully owned subsidiary, ClearCorp Dealing Systems (India) Ltd (CDSIL), has launched FX-Retail Platform on 5<sup>th<\/sup> August 2019. The launch of the platform was also announced by the RBI in its Statement on Developmental and Regulatory Policies of June 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of the webinar was to sensitize the G&amp;J industry about the FX-Retail Platform.&nbsp; Eminent personalities Mr Kamal Singhania, Sr Vice President, Ms. Seema Ganapathy, Sr. Manager, Ms. Saroj Khadilkar, Deputy Manager and Mr. Anilkumar Sharma, Senior Executive Officer from Clearing Corporation of India Limited (CCIL)were invitedto brief the attendees on FX-Retail Platform, it\u2019s benefits and how business entities can register this online portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Some of the benefits offered to all Forex Trading entities by FX-Retail which were explained are as mentioned below:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Buying and Selling US Dollar at best exchange rates and get substantial savings in foreign exchange cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Direct online dealing along with access to current inter-bank USD\/INR rates, thus moving from phone-based trading to electronic trading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 It provides transparency and fair pricing to the Customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Buying and Selling of US Dollar on one platform with an option to settle with one or multiple banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The webinar was attended by 80 participants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Gem &amp; Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex body of the gem and jewellery trade in India, conducted a webinar on \u201c FX-Retail: A New Forex Trading Platform\u201c on 23rd May 2022.
