GIA India held a graduation ceremony for students of its Graduate Diamond Diploma Program in Surat. The chief guest for the ceremony, Dinesh Navadia, Regional Chairman \u2013 Gujarat, Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), handed over the certificates to the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sharing his years of insight on the diamond industry with the students, Navadia said, \u201cThe diamond industry has seen historic exports since the Covid-19 pandemic. This has led to a huge demand for skilled manpower who can meet international requirements and also achieve highest levels of quality. The skill-based training by GIA will play an important role in meeting this demand for skilled manpower in the diamond industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GIA Graduate Diamonds Diploma Program examines the technical expertise needed to grade, buy, and sell diamonds with the insight of a seasoned professional. This diploma program explores the GIA diamond grading procedures to assess the 4Cs \u2013 colour, clarity, cut and carat weight \u2013 and how they affect diamond value.
