{"id":18715,"date":"2022-12-09T15:12:37","date_gmt":"2022-12-09T09:42:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/?p=18715"},"modified":"2022-12-09T15:12:54","modified_gmt":"2022-12-09T09:42:54","slug":"cibjo-introduces-new-logo-and-redesigned-website-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/cibjo-introduces-new-logo-and-redesigned-website-2\/","title":{"rendered":"CIBJO Introduces New Logo And Redesigned Website"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO) is upgrading its outward appearance, adopting a new logo and launching a redesigned website (www.cibjo.org) after 30 years of serving the world\u2019s jewellery and gem industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a subtle way, the association\u2019s name has been adjusted as well, with \u201cThe World Jewellery Confederation\u201d being emphasised more to describe its industry role and function, although its famous acronym CIBJO (derived from the French \u201cConf\u00e9d\u00e9ration International de la Bijouterie, Joaillerie, Orf\u00e8vrerie des Diamants, Perles et Pierres\u201d) has not been retired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri, President, CIBJO, explained, \u201cWhile we have been the anchor of the industry for decades, and indeed will be celebrating our centenary in 2026, the changes in the jewellery business over the past several years have greatly expanded our role, relevance and areas of responsibility, raising our profile higher than it ever has been before.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new logo that replaces the iconic CIBJO orb with its three gold rings, is reminiscent of the globe-like symbol that preceded it, but it is more futuristic and also evocative of a faceted gemstone or a piece of jewellery, CIBJO said.
