Anglo American said that Natascha Viljoen, CEO of its 79% owned subsidiary Anglo American Platinum Limited, has decided to take up her next career opportunity outside the Anglo American group. Viljoen has been CEO of Anglo American\u2019s PGMs business since April 2020 and will join Newmont Corporation, the US-based mining company, as its Chief Operating Officer upon completion of her notice period of up to 12 months.<\/p>\n
Viljoen will continue to serve as CEO of Anglo American Platinum and as a member of Anglo American\u2019s Group Management Committee until that time.<\/p>\n
