The webinar was aimed at keeping members of the Council up to date with recent updates and legal developments in the indirect tax space, including those arising from the recently passed Budget 2023-24.<\/p>\n<p>The guest speaker for the webinar was Mr. Supreme Kothari, a Tax &amp; Legal Practitioner, and the webinar was moderated by Mr. K.K. Duggal, Director of GJEPC. During the webinar, members were updated about various topics such as the constitution of GST tribunals, GST on goods transportation associated with exports, compliance under Rule 89(4C) of the CGST Rules, ITC match-mismatch related challenges, and other imminent compliances arising in the next fiscal.<\/p>\n<p>The webinar also aimed to educate members about the appropriate GST treatment and compliances in relation to job work transactions. This topic was particularly important given recent controversies surrounding job work transactions.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kothari responded to member queries, ensuring that all concerns were addressed.
