The Botswana Diamond Manufacturers Association (BDMA) has partnered with the Natural Diamond Council (NDC) to support the natural diamond industry and raise awareness of Botswana’s diamond manufacturing industry in global markets. The BDMA was established in 2007 and serves as the voice of the diamond cutting and polishing industry in Botswana. Its role is to work with the government and other authorities to create a favourable business environment for its members and stakeholders in the Botswana diamond industry.<\/p>\n
David Kellie, CEO, NDC, said, \u201cBotswana represents a crucial location within the natural diamond industry. We look forward to this partnership allowing us to more widely share the values of the Botswana diamond industry with the world. Just last year, we visited with our global ambassador, Lily James, where we saw first-hand the impact of the diamond manufacturers by bringing skills and employment to Botswana, particularly for young people and people with disabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n
