The showcase will include a 50-piece oeuvre from [Prime]al.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>True to its name \u2018Renn\u2019, meaning rebirth, the Studio explores concepts and perspectives, abstract ideas and feelings through fine jewellery.<\/p>\n[Prime]al comprising simple abstract forms in gold, diamonds and precious gemstones, was born from a poem, \u201cEyes Open,\u201d written by Co-founder &amp; Creative Director Rahul Jhaveri.<\/p>\n<p>The works within [Prime]al express the complexity and importance of ideas of protection, cyclicity, fertility, abundance and the perceptions of time and space.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Prime]al is an ambitious effort at the Studio to create a distinctive contemporary aesthetic \u2013 one that is our own. It started with a study of indigenous art \u2013 not what they made, but why and how. We attempted to follow the same creative process of abstraction while creating these works,\u201d explains Rahul Jhaveri.<\/p>\n<p>The Modern &amp; Contemporary Jewelry Series by Sotheby\u2019s is forward-thinking in its curation; one that highlights emerging and contemporary fine jewellers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStudio Renn is at the forefront of creativity and boundary-pushing \u2013 both in terms of their techniques and their materials.
