Ukraine\u2019s National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has removed one of the world\u2019s largest diamond companies, Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK), from its list of international sponsors of war.<\/p>\n
NACP said that SRK issued an official statement stating that it will comply with its international obligations and will not cooperate with Russian-sanctioned entities. In addition, the company declared its support for the current and future initiatives of the G7 countries to restrict the handling of Russian diamonds and refrain from purchasing them.<\/p>\n
Oleksandr Novikov, Head of the NACP, said, \u201cThe refusal of companies such as SRK to purchase Russian diamonds is a contribution not only to peace on the European continent but, above all, to the national security of India itself. The long-awaited decision of the G7, which we hope will be made soon, will be a historic milestone for the diamond industry.\u201d<\/p>\n
