The sanctions, which coincide with the second anniversary of Russia\u2019s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, are the largest number of sanctions ever imposed on Russia by the U.S. government. The Treasury and the State Department are jointly sanctioning over 500 targets to impose additional costs for Russia\u2019s repression, human rights abuses, and aggression against Ukraine.
