GJEPC has joined hands with the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to nurture the growth of Kashmir’s jewellery sector. A recent meeting organised by the GJEPC Regional Office in Delhi brought together industry leaders, including Mr. Anil Sankhwal, GJEPC CoA Member and Director of IIGJ-RLC and IIGJ-D and Mr. Javid Ahmed Tenga, President, KCCI, to explore collaboration opportunities.<\/p>\n
The partnership aims to enhance jewellery exports from Kashmir by providing comprehensive support, including training, market access, and industry exposure. As a result of the collaboration, the KCCI has committed to participating in the upcoming IIJS Premiere 2024 and has expressed keen interest in organising outreach programs in Srinagar. Additionally, a group of aspiring jewellery designers from Kashmir will undergo training at IIGJ Delhi.<\/p>\n
This strategic alliance marks a significant step towards empowering the jewellery industry in Kashmir and unlocking its potential in global markets.<\/p>\n
