The GJEPC leadership including Shri Vipul Shah, Chairman; Shri Kirit Bhansali, Vice Chairman; and Shri Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, met with the Honourable Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman on 2nd<\/sup> August in Parliament, New Delhi, to express the industry\u2019s heartfelt gratitude for the stellar announcements made for the Indian gem and jewellery sector in this year\u2019s Union Budget.<\/p>\n

The GJEPC leaders highlighted the positive impact of the budgetary measures on the industry, emphasising how these initiatives will bolster growth and enhance global competitiveness. The Finance Minister\u2019s support and vision for the sector were deeply appreciated by the Council.<\/p>\n
