This auction offers over 190 lots, featuring an extensive array of jewels, including antique pieces and vibrant coloured gemstones from prestigious jewellery houses such as Bulgari, Cartier, Gucci, Van Cleef & Arpels, and more.\u00a0 The overall sale will be on view at Christie\u2019s Rockefeller Center\u00a0 4th<\/sup> to 9th<\/sup> \u00a0September.<\/p>\n

The auction features jewels from several distinguished named collections including: The Collection of Nina Dyer and Property from the Collection of Emily Sophia Harding.<\/p>\n

Leading the sale\u00a0are important diamonds and coloured gemstones including No Reserve | Diamond Ring (estimate $300,000-$400,000); Colored Diamond Ring (estimate $300,000-400,000); and two important Kashmir sapphire rings, an Art Deco Sapphire Ring (estimate $200,000-$300,000); and a Sapphire and Diamond Ring (estimate $150,000-$250,000).<\/p>\n

Rounding out the sale\u00a0is a Cartier Colored Diamond and Jasper ‘Black Alley Cat’ Brooch (estimate $15,000-$20,000) from the Collection of Nina Dyer, a former model with one of the most significant jewellery collections in the world, had a particular affinity with big cats. This unique brooch, crafted from black jasper with two marquise-shaped yellow diamond eyes, was commissioned from Cartier Paris in 1962.<\/p>\n
