A series of workshops on the identification of lab-grown diamonds will be held in India in October 2024, featuring renowned diamond expert Branko Deljanin from the Canadian Gemmological Laboratory (CGL).<\/p>\n
The workshops, organised in association with the HRD Antwerp and Basil Labs, will take place in Mumbai and Hyderabad on 3rd and 9th October respectively. Deljanin, a leading researcher in the field, will conduct lectures and practical sessions on the testing and identification of loose and mounted diamonds, including those grown using HPHT (high-pressure, high-temperature) and CVD (chemical vapor deposition) methods.<\/p>\n
The workshops aim to equip participants with the skills necessary to accurately identify both natural and synthetic diamonds using various testing methods and portable instruments.
