Al Cook, CEO of De Beers Group, revealed this development at the Angola International Diamond Conference. He noted the positive outcomes of the airborne magnetic surveys conducted across both of the company\u2019s exploration concessions in the country. The surveys have provided crucial data to pinpoint potential diamond-rich areas.<\/p>\n
Cook said: \u201cAs we continue to put our Origins strategy into action, we are making good progress with our diamond exploration in Angola \u2013 the world\u2019s most prospective region for new diamond deposits \u2013 and we are very pleased to have already identified eight new high potential kimberlite targets in Angola as a result of our work.<\/p>\n
