The event was attended by 25 participants from both Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and Domestic Tariff Areas (DTAs).<\/p>\n<p>The program featured a comprehensive presentation by CA Anoop Bhatia, who delved into key aspects of TDS. These included: basics of TDS; applicability of TDS across payments and threshold limits; compliance process: deduction, deposit, and filing timelines; key amendments in TDS provisions and their impact; penalties for non-compliance and methods for resolution; and practical challenges and best practices in TDS compliance.<\/p>\n<p>Income Tax officials were present at the event to address any queries raised by the participants.
