Independent verification by Deutsch Quality Systems (India) Private Limited has confirmed that SRK has reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions per carat by 34% compared to the global industry average. This comprehensive assessment, conducted in accordance with international standards like the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and ISO 14064, encompassed the entire diamond supply chain.<\/p>\n
As of November 2024, SRK\u2019s natural diamond emissions per carat stood at a remarkable 70.49 kgCO2e, setting a new industry benchmark. The company plans to further reduce emissions by expanding its reliance on renewable energy sources, particularly solar power, across its crafting facilities.<\/p>\n
