India made its grand debut as the official partner country at Inhorgenta 2025, marking a significant landmark for the global gem and jewellery industry. The India Pavilion was inaugurated by Mr. Shatrughna Sinha, IFS, Consul General of India, Munich, alongside Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Chairman, GJEPC; Mr. Stefan Rummel, CEO of Messe M\u00fcnchen, and Ms. Stefanie Maendlein, Exhibition Director of Inhorgenta. Curated by GJEPC, the pavilion showcased an exquisite collection from Indian exhibitors\u2014dazzling diamond jewellery, elegant gold and platinum designs, fine jewellery, and loose gemstones.<\/p>\n

Yet, the true centrepiece of Inhorgenta 2025 was the India Experience Lounge, a breathtaking space draped in swathes of white, offering visitors an immersive, multi-sensory journey into India\u2019s cultural soul. From intricate, colourful textures to evocative flavours and the enchanting strains of Indian music, the lounge captured the essence of a timeless civilization.<\/p>\n

Among the highlights were over 15 unique jewellery pieces, each a union of innovation and tradition. Crafted with ancient techniques like filigree, jaali work, granulation, and enamelling, these creations offered a fresh yet rooted perspective on Indian artistry.<\/p>\n

Complementing the display were the Manchaha<\/em> artisanal rugs from Jaipur, woven by skilled rural weavers. Meaning \u201cexpression of my heart,\u201d each Manchaha<\/em> rug is a singular narrative\u2014born from the weaver\u2019s surroundings, dreams, and emotions\u2014celebrating creativity and empowering artisans through design.<\/p>\n

The sensory delights continued with culinary offerings that transported visitors across India\u2019s diverse landscapes. Visitors savoured the spicy-sweet warmth of Kashmiri Kahwa, brewed in the misty Himalayan valleys, or the robust Masala Chai that powers Mumbai\u2019s vibrant streets. For those with a sweet tooth, an array of traditional sweetmeats and savouries delivered bursts of flavour.<\/p>\n

The experiential lounge was infused with the earthy and calming aroma of sandalwood forests, transporting you to the heart of India\u2019s landscapes, while the melodies of the sitar\u2014blending classical roots with contemporary flair\u2014connected the past and the present.<\/p>\n
