This initiative will provide a 12-month scholarship within the prestigious Young Artists Program, offering stage experience and mentorship to an emerging ballet star.<\/p>\n
The 2025 recipient of the Rare Gem scholarship is Young Artist Samantha Green. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with Honours in Dance, Samantha has earned numerous accolades throughout her training at Youth Ballet WA. Over the next year, she will perform in all mainstage seasons, regional tours, and exclusive events, further honing her skills as she prepares for a professional ballet career.<\/p>\n
Lauren Major, Executive Director of West Australian Ballet, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating: \u201cThe process of finding and developing young, talented dancers is akin to the process of uncovering and transforming rare diamonds from deep within the earth.
