Michael Hill International Limited announced the sudden passing of its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Daniel Bracken, overnight on 26th<\/sup> February 2025. The company stated that his death was the result of an adverse reaction to medical treatment for an underlying medical condition.<\/p>\n

Bracken, who had led the jewellery retailer for the past seven years, is remembered for his \u201coutstanding leadership and dedication.\u201d The Board, Executive, and the entire Michael Hill team expressed their deepest condolences to his family and friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cDaniel was a passionate retailer, an innovative and strategic thinker and an inspiring leader, who transformed the Michael Hill Group into the company that it is today,\u201d the company said in a statement released to the ASX and NZX.<\/p>\n
