Sotheby\u2019s Paris has realised a historic milestone with its latest Fine Jewellery live auction, reaching an impressive total of $8,088,428. This marks the highest sale total for the auction house in Paris since 2018, with an enthusiastic crowd of 600<\/span> attendees and over 2,200 bids placed from global collectors.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The auction featured 257 lots, surpassing 164% of their low estimates. Among the standout pieces was a Chaumet diamond brooch from 1929, which soared to \u20ac158,750, well above its high estimate. A Van Cleef & Arpels \u2018Danseuse\u2019 brooch also made waves, selling for \u20ac139,700, more than triple its projection.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Spectacular gemstones took centre stage, with a pigeon blood \u2018Single Red\u2019 ruby necklace achieving \u20ac609,600, and a 17.48-carat pear-cut diamond ring fetching \u20ac546,100.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
