Participants toured the Jwaneng diamond mine and a cutting and polishing facility employing locals, including differently abled workers. Engagements with government officials highlighted how diamond income has funded critical infrastructure such as roads, schools, and hospitals. The trip also included visits to the Okavango Delta\u2019s landscapes and wildlife.<\/p>\n
A key moment was the visit to Erba Farms, led by entrepreneur Tshireletso Seoromeng. Supported by Diamonds Do Good since 2022, Seoromeng expanded from a windowsill herb garden to a commercial farm supplying national grocery chains and employing six full-time workers. Attendees marked the opening of her new packing house.<\/p>\n
