The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex body of India\u2019s gem and jewellery trade, announced its active participation in the upcoming Ministerial Summit on Natural Diamond Promotion to be held on 18 June in Luanda, Angola. Representing India at the summit will be Mr. Shaunak Parikh, Vice Chairman, GJEPC and Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC.<\/p>\n
This high-level gathering will include participation from global industry leaders representing the global natural diamond value chain including mining major De Beers. The initiative seeks to engage a new generation of consumers by reinforcing the ethical sourcing, natural origin, and socio-economic contributions of diamonds to producing nations and communities.<\/p>\n
