Ms. Dolly Choudhary, Director of Promotions & Marketing, GJEPC, opened the session by outlining the objectives of this special initiative, which aims to connect Indian SAJEX exhibitors with designers from the GCC region. The goal is to co-create jewellery collections that are not only market-relevant but also culturally aligned with the preferences of Saudi consumers.<\/p>\n
As part of this initiative, a two-day physical design workshop\u00a0will soon be held in Mumbai, where 10 select GCC-based designers\u00a0will work closely with enrolled SAJEX exhibitors. This hands-on collaboration will see the GCC mentors guiding exhibitors in curating designs tailored specifically to the Saudi market.<\/p>\n
Ms. Mahima Varma, Co-partner, WAOD, offered an overview of jewellery design directions that resonate with the GCC audience. She highlighted aesthetic cues, cultural nuances, and stylistic preferences that define jewellery buying in the region.<\/p>\n
