Anglo American plc has sold approximately 52.2 million ordinary shares of Valterra Platinum Limited (previously Anglo American Platinum) through an accelerated bookbuild at ZAR845 per share. The sale represents Anglo American\u2019s entire 19.9% retained interest following Valterra Platinum\u2019s demerger at the end of May 2025.<\/p>\n

The placing raised ZAR44.1 billion (around US$2.5 billion). Valterra Platinum will not receive any proceeds from the sale. Settlement of the shares is expected on or about 9 September 2025 on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
