David Morris launches Triolette by <\/em>Cecily Morris<\/strong>, its Brand and Retail Director. It\u2019s the house\u2019s first fine jewellery collection crafted entirely in 18-karat yellow gold! In an exclusive interview with <\/em>David Brough, Cecily, shares her creative vision behind the new stackable line. <\/em><\/p>\n

Designed by Cecily Morris to celebrate her expanding creative role at Bond Street jeweller David Morris, the new Triolette collection channels her sense of style in a series of stackable jewels that feel as effortless and easy-going as the woman behind them.<\/p>\n

With her love for yellow gold, casual layering and a wear-it-your-way attitude, Cecily looked to her own jewellery wardrobe for inspiration. \u201cIt felt natural to create something for the House that reflects how I style my own jewellery, with multiple piercings stacked with hoops and studs, a mix of bracelets, and rings worn across both hands.\u201d<\/p>\n

The result is Triolette by Cecily Morris: a versatile collection of hoop earrings and stackable rings and bracelets that slot neatly together.<\/p>\n

Each piece is set with a round diamond and framed by a pav\u00e9 diamond surround to form one of three geometric shapes \u2013 oval, square or hexagon.<\/p>\n

The collection takes its name from this trio of signature motifs, which provide the visual and conceptual foundation for every design.<\/p>\n

Solitaire<\/em> asked Cecily Morris to elaborate on her inspiration in designing the Triolette collection.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to create jewellery that feels effortless and personal \u2013 something that reflects my own style but still stays true to David Morris craftsmanship,\u201d she said. \u201cThe collection grew from my love of geometric shapes: oval, square and hexagon. Each piece features a round diamond framed by pav\u00e9. Triolette may be petite, but the yellow gold and diamonds really make a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe pieces are designed to slot together seamlessly, whether you\u2019re mixing different shapes or stacking them the same way. They\u2019re made to be worn your way, every day.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re drawn to something soft and pretty, the oval is perfect; the square has a slightly edgier feel, and the hexagon gives a subtle Art Deco touch \u2013 or you can mix them all together and make it your own.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked how she would describe her focus and style as a designer, and if she had plans to design more collections for the brand, she commented, \u201cMy focus as a designer is really about creating jewellery that feels lived-in and personal \u2013 pieces that become part of you rather than something you only wear on special occasions. I love the idea of jewellery that\u2019s effortless but still beautifully made.\u00a0As for what\u2019s next \u2013 yes, absolutely, I\u2019d love to design more. There are so many directions I\u2019d like to explore.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s exciting to be carving out a space within the House that feels true to who I am, while continuing to build on our family\u2019s incredible legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cecily\u2019s approach to the new collection was as personal as it was collaborative. \u201cI actually spoke to my grandmother about it at the beginning,\u201d she recalls. \u201cI wanted to know what her take was on the idea of stacking pieces, and she loved it.\u201d<\/p>\n

From there, she worked closely with the expertise of David Morris\u2019s Design teams to shape the collection, often using her own ear as a canvas.<\/p>\n

Designed to be mixed, mismatched and worn every day, Triolette by Cecily Morris brings a youthful spirit to the House\u2019s legacy of exceptional gemstones, distinctive design and fine British craftsmanship.<\/p>\n

While firmly rooted in David Morris\u2019s codes of excellence, the collection embraces a freer, more individualistic approach to fine jewellery \u2013 one that reflects Cecily\u2019s own aesthetic.<\/p>\n
