The changes aim to strengthen process integrity, with a broader consultation planned for 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Key updates include a ban on non-Roman, including Cyrillic, lettering in serial numbers and fineness marks, tighter timelines for Proactive Monitoring (PAM) with limited extensions, and a new requirement that all stamps and markings be placed at least 10 mm from the edge of a bar.
