First production from the new facility is expected to reach the market at the February 2026 mixed quality ruby auction.<\/p>\n<p>At Kagem Mining, premium emerald recoveries met expectations after focussed mining resumed in May 2025. The company highlighted the recovery of Imboo, an 11,685-carat emerald with intense colour. An added night shift at the upgraded processing plant enabled treatment of historic stockpiles and supported stronger output.
