More than 170 retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers participated in a GJEPC seminar held in association with the Jodhpur Jewellers Association (JJA) in Jodhpur, as part of the promotional drive for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026, scheduled from 5th to 10th August 2026.<\/p>\n
Supported by JJA, the event focused on key industry developments and opportunities. De Beers, through its INDRA initiative, presented its services to the trade.<\/p>\n
GJEPC officials made a detailed presentation on IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 and urged jewellers to leverage e-commerce platforms to expand exports. Dedicated sessions on hallmarking regulations and compliance requirements were also conducted to familiarise participants with recent developments affecting the industry.<\/p>\n
The seminar featured discussions on challenges faced by retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers. The programme concluded with a networking dinner and generated an encouraging number of on-the-spot registrations for IIJS Bharat Premiere.
