Danish jewellery brand Pandora has expanded its lab-grown diamond jewellery collections into Spain and Italy, marking another step in its strategy to make diamond jewellery more widely accessible across Europe. The collections are now available through new flagship stores in Barcelona and Milan, alongside selected retail locations.<\/p>\n
The launch brings Pandora\u2019s Pandora Infinite and Pandora Era collections to the two markets. The company said the expansion reflects its ambition to democratise diamond jewellery by offering contemporary designs at more accessible price points.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur lab-grown diamonds combine beauty, accessibility and responsibility, and we are excited to bring the collections to consumers in Spain and Italy. Diamonds were once reserved for the few, but thanks to innovation, many more people can now enjoy them,\u201d said Massimo Basei, Chief Commercial Officer at Pandora.<\/p>\n
Pandora has exclusively used lab-grown diamonds since 2021 and says its diamonds are produced using 100% renewable electricity before being set in jewellery crafted from 100% recycled silver and gold. The company estimates that a one-carat Pandora lab-grown diamond has a carbon footprint of 12.58 kg CO\u2082e, around 90% lower than that of a mined diamond of the same size. Earlier this year, Pandora also introduced carbon footprint labelling as a fifth measure alongside the traditional four Cs of diamond grading.<\/p>\n
The expansion coincides with the opening of two flagship stores. The Barcelona store on Passeig de Gr\u00e0cia draws inspiration from the city\u2019s architecture, incorporating locally sourced materials and design elements influenced by Antoni Gaud\u00ed. The Milan flagship strengthens Pandora\u2019s presence in one of Europe\u2019s leading fashion and luxury retail destinations.<\/p>\n
Pandora has been steadily expanding its lab-grown diamond business since launching the category in North America in 2022 and entering additional international markets over the past few years.
