GJEPC, in association with the All India Jewellers and Goldsmith Federation (AIJGF), organised a seminar on \u201cExport Opportunities for MSMEs and IIJS Bharat Retailers\u2019 Connect\u201d to help jewellery businesses tap global markets while showcasing how IIJS Retail Connect is supporting business growth across the industry.<\/p>\n
Addressing the gathering, Anjaneesh Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Industries, District Industries Centre, Kanpur, outlined the Uttar Pradesh Government\u2019s ongoing efforts to promote exports and strengthen the MSME ecosystem. He highlighted initiatives aimed at boosting export promotion, supporting One District One Product (ODOP) enterprises, improving ease of doing business, and providing financial assistance, skill development and market access. He encouraged jewellers and MSMEs to make full use of these schemes to enhance their competitiveness and expand internationally.<\/p>\n
Mansukh Kothari, Convenor \u2013 Events, GJEPC, presented an overview of IIJS Bharat, describing it as a key platform for business growth. He explained how participation in IIJS helps companies build professional networks, explore new markets, strengthen buyer-seller relationships and create long-term business opportunities.<\/p>\n
Mithilesh Pandey, Senior Director, GJEPC, highlighted the Council\u2019s initiatives to strengthen India\u2019s gem and jewellery export ecosystem. His presentation covered opportunities through IJEX, Dubai, e-commerce platforms such as eBay, participation in international trade fairs and access to new global markets. He also explained how FTAs are enhancing India\u2019s export competitiveness and outlined MSME schemes and government support available to industry members.<\/p>\n
The seminar drew more than 100 trade members from across the jewellery industry. An interactive Q&A session saw participants seek guidance on export procedures, MSME schemes, international market opportunities, business expansion strategies, GJEPC\u2019s Parichay Card initiative and its Health Insurance Scheme.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
