{"id":37387,"date":"2026-07-27T15:11:00","date_gmt":"2026-07-27T09:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/?p=37387"},"modified":"2026-07-27T15:11:00","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T09:41:00","slug":"gjepc-seminar-in-jammu-spotlights-export-opportunities-for-msmes-draws-150-trade-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/gjepc-seminar-in-jammu-spotlights-export-opportunities-for-msmes-draws-150-trade-members\/","title":{"rendered":"GJEPC Seminar in Jammu Spotlights Export Opportunities for MSMEs, Draws 150+ Trade Members"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">GJEPC, in association with Swarnkar Sangh\u00a0Jammu, organised a seminar on\u00a0\u201cExport Opportunities for MSMEs and IIJS Retail Connect\u201d,\u00a0bringing together more than 150 members of the jewellery trade from across\u00a0Jammu\u00a0district.\u00a0The seminar\u00a0held on 24 July\u00a0aimed at\u00a0helping jewellers tap global export opportunities while highlighting the role of\u00a0IIJS Bharat\u00a0in expanding business prospects and strengthening India\u2019s gems and jewellery industry.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mansukh Kothari, Convenor \u2013 Events, GJEPC,\u00a0outlined how\u00a0IIJS Bharat\u00a0has enabled\u00a0manufacturers,\u00a0retailers\u00a0and exporters to build professional networks, discover new markets,\u00a0and generate business opportunities through direct engagement with domestic and international buyers.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mithilesh Pandey, Senior Director, GJEPC, presented an overview of the Council\u2019s initiatives to strengthen India\u2019s gem and jewellery export ecosystem. He guided participants through the process of\u00a0establishing\u00a0an export business, including obtaining an Import Export Code (IEC), GST registration and fulfilling other statutory requirements.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Pandey also highlighted GJEPC\u2019s export promotion initiatives, including IJEX, Dubai, e-commerce opportunities through platforms such as eBay, participation in international trade exhibitions and access to overseas markets. He underscored the growing importance of FTAs in enhancing India\u2019s export competitiveness and outlined the various MSME schemes and government support available to industry members.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Naheed Sunke,\u00a0Assistant Director,\u00a0GJEPC,\u00a0briefed participants on the benefits available to jewellers attending\u00a0IIJS Bharat\u00a0through their association, including\u00a0special discounts\u00a0on visitor registrations.
