The Jewelry Symposium (TJS) will introduce a new Jewelry Manufacturing Fundamentals education day ahead of its 2027 Symposium, aimed at students, apprentices, young jewellery artisans and professionals seeking broader manufacturing knowledge.<\/p>\n
The programme will take place on 15 May 2027 in Troy, Michigan, one day before the main symposium begins. Six seminars will cover key areas including manufacturing materials, design, casting, finishing, setting and plating.<\/p>\n
TJS Board Chairman Linus Drogs said the initiative responds to the industry\u2019s need to attract, develop and retain skilled manufacturing talent. The programme will connect newcomers with experienced industry professionals while also offering opportunities for cross-training among established practitioners.<\/p>\n
The sessions are designed to provide an overview of how different stages of jewellery manufacturing interact. The fee will cover all six seminars, followed by a Q&A with presenters, the TJS board and other industry professionals.
