GJEPC, in association with the Jalna Sarafa & Swarnakar Association, organised an Export Awareness Seminar and IIJS Retailer Outreach programme in Jalna, Maharashtra, on 28 September 2026.<\/p>\n
The programme brought together leading jewellers, manufacturers, artisans and MSMEs from Jalna and adjoining districts, highlighting the region\u2019s potential to develop as a jewellery manufacturing cluster under the Districts as Export Hubs (DEH) initiative.<\/p>\n
Mithilesh Pandey, Senior Director, GJEPC, covered export opportunities and government support available through the Ministry of Commerce, DGFT and Ministry of MSME, including DEH, simplified e-commerce exports through courier mode and duty-free market access under the India-UAE CEPA and other FTAs. Participants were also briefed on the PM Vishwakarma scheme, Common Facility Centres and MSME support for international trade fair participation.<\/p>\n
The IIJS Retailer Connect outreach session was led by Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director, GJEPC, who introduced Jalna retailers to IIJS Signature 2027 as a sourcing platform for new designs, technology and B2B networking. Retailers were encouraged to participate in a larger delegation to the show.<\/p>\n
GJEPC outlined its export facilitation framework, covering Membership and RCMC, IEC, Customs and ECGC support, and Parichay Cards for karigars. Its Niryat Disha programme for export documentation, compliance and quality training, and Niryat Protsahan for end-to-end mentorship up to the first export order were also presented.<\/p>\n
The Council highlighted IJEX Dubai, a year-round buyer-seller platform, and India Jewellery Park Mumbai as routes for MSMEs seeking international market access and organised manufacturing infrastructure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
