The transaction was completed on 30 September 2026 following Lugano\u2019s restructuring process. The financial terms were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition expands Middle West Partners\u2019 presence in the jewellery sector. The firm also owns David Webb, the New York-based jewellery brand it acquired in April 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Lugano filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November 2025 and entered a court-supervised asset sale process. Enhanced Retail Funding, a division of Gordon Brothers, initially acquired the assets before Middle West Partners and the client investors purchased the operating business.<\/p>\n<p>Lugano will operate under the name Lugano Jewelry, replacing its former name, Lugano Diamonds &amp; Jewelry. Josh Gaynor, who served as interim CEO from May 2025, has been appointed chief executive and will join the company\u2019s board.<\/p>\n<p>Lugano will retain its headquarters and jewellery workshop in Newport Beach, California.
