The book Ruby takes the reader into a fascinating exploration of this precious red stone, travelling from the ancient mines of Burma, along the rigorous terrain of the Silk Trading routes of China, to the royal courts of Europe, and the aficionados of today\u2014from Main Street to the Red Carpet\u2014who appreciate beautiful gemstones and jewellery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
