{"id":6049,"date":"2020-11-17T16:38:56","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T11:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/?p=6049"},"modified":"2021-03-24T16:40:19","modified_gmt":"2021-03-24T11:10:19","slug":"de-beers-combines-london-based-consumer-corporate-teams-into-single-unit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/solitaire\/de-beers-combines-london-based-consumer-corporate-teams-into-single-unit\/","title":{"rendered":"De Beers Combines London-based Consumer &#038; Corporate Teams Into Single Unit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>De Beers announced it is combining its London-based Consumer &amp; Brands and Corporate Affairs teams into a new single unit &#8211; Brands &amp; Consumer Markets &#8211; to sharpen its focus and investment in providing consumers with brands of true social purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new unit, which will be fully accountable for the development of the group\u2019s brands and the expansion of its consumer businesses, represents an innovation in luxury \u2013 the consolidation of brand marketing and a company\u2019s social purpose into one focused team. The unit is dedicated to engaging consumers in both the beauty of a De Beers diamond and the beauty of its story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stephen Lussier, previously Executive Vice President of Consumer &amp; Brands, has been appointed Executive Vice President, Consumer Markets and will continue to serve as the Chairman of De Beers Jewellers and Chairman of Forevermark. Stephen is accountable for the long-term vision and strategy of De Beers\u2019 consumer businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Prager, previously Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs, has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer of De Beers.
