During the trading period that started on 15th January, 2021, Alrosa\u2019s clients \u201ccan request and purchase diamonds according to their real needs\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Evgeny Agureev, Deputy CEO of Alrosa, commented, \u201cAfter the unprecedented challenge of 2020, we enter the new year with a relatively strong real demand across the whole diamond pipeline. In order to support the market balance and its sustainability, we continue to offer the maximum flexibility to our customers in January. We expect that in the first quarter, given the current global market conditions, demand for diamonds will remain solid. This period is especially important, as we are transitioning to another new three-year contract period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
